The artist should require you to provide the wood cabinet doors to him or her for proper fitting. Fitting the metal-framed art glass panels into the opening so that it sits well within the opening is not an easy task. The margin for error is very tiny.

For your own sake, always use a local stained glass artist who requires you to supply the wood cabinet doors to them, not just the measurements. You are welcome to use the designs shown here as I will probably not be in your service area.
